Sharon Stone has been upstaging her younger competitors at the Cannes Film Festival this week, as she opts for figure-hugging and flesh-exposing gowns on the red carpets, despite being the ripe old age of 55.
The former model is amongst the world's most famous for fun and frolics in Cannes whilst promoting her debut film Behind The Candelabra, alongside Michael Douglas. She may be in her mid-fifties, but the Basic Instinct star is showing the younger actresses how it's done, in plunging necklines and exposing her impressive washboard stomach.

For the premiere of Behind The Candelabra, Sharon donned an eye-catching embellished cobalt blue floor-length gown that plunged all the way down both her back and her chest, exposing some serious cleavage! And for a woman of 55, it's a pretty impressive sight.
Opting to flaunt her body further, she went for another floor-length figure-hugging number in cherry red for the de Grisogono party last night (May 21), and she stayed true to the theme of 'seduction in Cannes' as she chose to cheekily expose a bit of side boob and show off half of her enviable flat stomach.

The mother-of-three gambled with the critique she was sure to receive in these racy numbers, but we think she looks amazing for her age. Not many women in their fifties would dream to dress daringly, having left those outfits with the days of their youth, but not Sharon.
